Jim is known for his strength in managing all the variables in complex situations. He is fascinated by relevant ideas of client self development and as a strategist guides clients own decisions through the clutter to find the best route for their own and their organization's future. Taking a systematic approach he elicits a business-like culture that values quality and dependability with 'make it happen' routines.
Jim has a vast executive experience in Irish, UK and US companies - examples: Irish Sugar, Reckitt Colman Holdings, Lincoln Electric and Becton Dickinson Medical Devices. He is committed to a Coaching/Mentoring style of management, having taken sometimes raw Irish talent to extreme effectiveness.
Jim read Philosophy and History at college but adapted his analytical strength in industry towards physical realities - he is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
Recreationally he is committed to high health maintenance, follows most sports (particularly hurling) and he shares his spare time with voluntary causes.
Jim is married with two adult children and two grandchildren.
