What is Business Coaching?
To be consistently successful over the long term, an organisation must develop clarity and focus based on a true understanding of how the business creates maximum value in the marketplace. It must embrace change wherever change is required, it must foster innovation, and have the ability to attract and retain, motivated and talented people. This can only happen in an organisational culture which is empowering and flexible. However, we know that even the most liberated companies often fall far short of this ideal simply because their leaders and managers do not have the knowledge of how to implement such a system successfully. In business coaching we address these issues i.e. we look squarely at the “big picture” by essentially applying the same coaching principles to the organisation as a whole as we do to the individual. We work with the CEO and senior team in a highly strategic way to bring about clarity and focus within the business.
A business coach facilitates an organisation to define corporate vision and objectives, helping to develop successful strategies to achieve them. The coach empowers and supports the business by working to improve the effectiveness of the senior individuals and teams. The coach challenges people and organisations to aim higher – dares them to think more creatively, to become all they can be and then supports them through the process of change.
